Surviving Quarantine 🙃
Hi guys,
I know many of us are tired of being inside the house, but I hope you're all safe and staying at home so we can keep others safe, too.
Since quarantine already lasts super long, its never too late to change up your routine. Did you know that the more bored you are the more creative you are. You see I am not a big fan of binge watching tv shows, so I try to keep everyday as different as possible or else what even is life if I do the same shit everyday.
But let me start off by saying everyone copes differently and if you feel comfortable with how you are coping that’s okay. I’ve been eating a lot of sodium actually I love pretzels, and salty almonds. But my cravings at night is all sugar and please during this time don’t be hard yourself.. that’s the least thing you need.
In this article I wanna give you some other activities to do that won't cause you to gain weight because you are bored/ constantly sitting on your butt.
➝ For me it is really important to move my body (not only because I gained weight but also because it makes me feel better). Since we're staying at home we don't burn as many calories during the day doing our normal activities. I love doing Chloe Ting workouts on YouTube. She is crazy but it is worth it!:)
➝ Being Outside: Remember to just take deep breathes every once in a while and just relax. Let the air go in to your lungs. Close your eyes and listen to some music.
➝ Journal! — everything that’s happening right now its important to write down your feelings or write things that you’ve learned or else you will forget.
➝ Learn something new: I’ve learned how to cook more meals!!!
➝ If you are bored go threw your clothes, playlists, etc. and declutter. Normally we don't have time for that because there is so much more important things to do but now is the time to finally get it done.
➝ Text or call friends you haven't seen in a long time because they live far away. Also call your grand parents. They will be so happy:)
➝ Take care of yourself! Also mentally. This is so important for me so I have at least two self care nights a week.
➝ This is how I spend my time at home when I'm bored and I hope you got some inspiration. Please stay at home and stay safe.
➝ Curate a playlist.
➝ Sell your clothes
➝ Have a photoshoot :)
➝ Make pasta from scratch
➝ Unsubscribe from every mail you don’t need
➝ Go on drives :)
